Dr. Shagufa Kapadia

Professor Emeritus, Department of Human Development and Family Studies, Faculty of Family and Community Sciences, The M.S. University of Baroda


Dr. Shagufa Kapadia is a Fellow of the National Academy of Psychology (NAOP), 2021–22. She has served as Principal Investigator for research projects funded by ICSSR, the Ford Foundation, and UNICEF. She has received an international research grant from the Society for the Study of Emerging Adulthood, USA, and has been awarded the Fulbright Senior Research Fellowship and the Shastri Indo-Canadian Faculty Research Awards. She serves on the editorial and review boards of Psychological Studies and Culture and Psychology.

Module 3

The Reviewers’ Room: How Reviewers Read, Critique, and Improve a Manuscript

Present your work, receive expert feedback, and improve your research.

15–16 October 2026 | 6:30–8:30 PM (IST)

The Reviewers’ Room is a live research clinic for scholars who want to understand how experts read, critique, and improve research. The room covers research in marketing, economics, finance, and human resource management, with methodological expertise in qualitative research, quantitative research, experiments, econometrics, and systematic literature reviews.

Up to 25 selected proposals from participants will be invited to present their work in a concise five-slide pitch and receive structured feedback from the review panel. The wider audience will learn how to frame a research problem, present a research idea clearly, justify a methodological choice, and ask for the right kind of feedback.
